    Mick
You all may have heard the news that the Usurper is now saying his mother was "single". I knew that eventually he would either deny his father or his father's marriage. A single US citizen mother DOES produce a natural born Citizen child (except if birth occurred in Kenya--- since she would have been too young to confer citizenship by the law at the time), since there would be no legal claim to citizenship of the child by the father's home country.

If it turns out that the decision is that she was not married, or that the marriage was one of convenience (to get Visa extensions), while Obama Sr. already had another wife in Kenya, that would be a satisfactory conclusion--- since the definition of natural born would remain intact, and no precedence set for allowing foreign alllegiance and influence into the Whitehouse.

This is an important developement, since it also requires Discovery of official documents. There is a Divorce decree of Barack Obama Sr. and Stanley Ann D. Obama, and Obama's fraudulent "birth certificate" (long form) has the signature (supposedly) of "Stanley Ann Dunham Obama". Why would she call herself by the last name of Obama, and give little Barry his father's last name if they were not married? He is setting up an escape hatch, and that escape hatch was also floated at my Tallahassee hearing, when the judge asked my attorney what the condition of the child would be to single mother. Obama ALWAYS foreshadows his political theatre.

    Divorce decree:
    http://www.scribd.com/doc/18130289/Obama-1964-Divorce-Papers-13-Pages-Missing-Pg-11

Could the missing page 11 be Obama's birth certificate?

No Maui marriage certificate has been found yet.

There is also the issue of the INS interviews and internal paperwork on Obama Sr. They seem to conceed that Obama Jr. was born in Hawaii (only hearsay though), and also talk about that Obama Sr. was said to have a wife or wives in Kenya. Can this be used to retroactively annul a 50 year old marriage, when all the parties are dead? Or maybe that can be done as political cover so that the judiciary can determine that Obama IS a natural born Citizen by technicality? He is setting something up, most likely because this issue is about to explode on the scene. Very interesting developments, but they are developments that raise the chance of Discovery being granted in my case.

It's all a pack of lies. I have come to the conclusion that we will never get a resolution on this one. For four years plus I have been waiting for the "big reveal" only to get forged documents and changing narratives. The best bet on the facts of this coming out are if Romney wins, O loses power, and Congress grows a pair and looks at Arpaios investigation. The odds of that are slim to none. No court is the US will ever touch this one. Discovery will never come.

Don't get me wrong. I admire greatly what you are doing. But reading about this "exploding on the scene" ... or this issue ends with discovery...or information will soon come out that will blow this wide open... Trump promising a big announcement at the convention then golfing with Clinton and not even going to the convention , Arpaio's investigation holding back which computer the fake BC was transmitted from etc.... If the media won't report whatever may or may not come out, why bother.

I love what you are doing Mick and God Bless you as you continue on this path. But for me and mine we know the rule of law is dead. Prepare accordingly.
Also I want to say Thank you and farewell to everyone who came and spent time these last few years at Nate's. I enjoyed my time here and learned so much from all your friendly wisdom. Good luck and Godspeed.

  10. Romney was really very well prepared, not a hair out of place. He must have stood in front of a mirror for hours and hours getting just the right tilt of the head and just enough, but not too much, actual smile. A great performance all around. On the other hand Obama looked like he was just phoning it in; like he didn't have the time for this circus. Well I think next time he should just start with a song.

  12. If I were Obama, I'd hope to lose this election. In fact, I'd be pleading with my puppeteers to let me lose.

Why? The reasons are obvious - he'll lock in $40 million in the next 4 years in pay backs from Big Finance Capital front corporations for handing trillions from the Treasury over to their interests.

That kind of money might not be available if the collapse accelerates in earnest within the next 4 years (which is more likely than not, IMHO).

Not to mention he will be absolutely hated to the point going anywhere could be risky if the collapse acceleration occurs in the next 4 years.

    2. The performance at the Debate was telling - Obama didn't respond , was passive , one might objectively say he mailed it in. Could be he would like to move on ( already has a mansion at his beck and call come January and Michelle also allegedly would love to move on... ) However , the PTBs might not be inclined to let him move on ( note the NFP report on Friday.... ) Not surprising the numbers were fudged and my initial perspective of a ho hum report seems to have been borne out by considering the news and views on same - note the post below which has various articles on same.

President Barack Obama said repeatedly Friday that his administration would "find out what happened" and punish those responsible, but he twice ducked questions about whether U.S. officials denied requests for help.

"We're going to gather all the facts, find out exactly what happened, and make sure that it doesn't happen again, but we're also going to make sure we bring to justice those who carried out these attacks," Obama said in an interview with Denver television station KUSA.

WASHINGTON (CBSDC/AP) — Defense Secretary Leon Panetta calls the criticism of the Obama administration’s handling of the Libya terror attack “Monday morning quarterbacking.”

      * * *

Panetta said that they didn’t have enough “real-time information” to send military forces to respond.

“(The) basic principle is that you don’t deploy forces into harm’s way without knowing what’s going on; without having some real-time information about what’s taking place,” Panetta said, according to The Associated Press. “And as a result of not having that kind of information, the commander who was on the ground in that area, Gen. Ham, Gen. Dempsey and I felt very strongly that we could not put forces at risk in that situation.”

Gen. Carter Ham is the head of U.S. Africa Command and Gen. Martin Dempsey is the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

( Commander of USS Stennis Strike Group sent back to home base - very , very odd Generals Ham and Gaouette relieved of Command at almost the same time.... Did they rebuke direct orders from Panetta or Obama 's orders regarding Benghazi or is this a result of something else ? ) Key text below......

In an unusual move, the Navy has replaced an admiral commanding an aircraft carrier strike group while it is deployed to the Middle East. The replacement was prompted by an Inspector General’s investigation of allegations of inappropriate leadership judgment.

Rear Adm. Charles M. Gaouette, the commander of the USS John C. Stennis strike group, is being returned to the United States for temporary reassignment.
In a statement the Navy said it had approved a request made by Vice Adm. John W. Miller, the Commander of U.S. Naval Forces Central Command, to temporarily reassign Gaouette “pending the results of an investigation by the Navy Inspector General.”

      * * *

A Navy official familiar with the circumstances of the investigation said it involved allegations of “inappropriate leadership judgment” and stressed it was not related to personal conduct.

    6. Karl Denninger's site had some info indicating that they were relieved because they were trying to save the ambassador and the others. It seems to me they (the totus) wanted the guy dead. I watched a short documentary about the attack and some very credible sources were saying there was no way that the white house and others were not seeing the whole thing unfold in real time. It was 7 hours from the time the attack started until the ambassador was killed. We could have had boots on the ground in 2hrs and air support even faster. There is nothing to low for this guy to do.

    7. My take on the items I have read was that General Ham attempted to respond to the Benghazi attack of the Consulate and the multiple requests for assistance , General Ham was told to stand down ( and said the hell with that ) and as he was getting the response ramped up , was suddenly relieved of his Command by General Rodriquez ( his Second in Command.. ) That is simply incredible and will make for interesting future Congressional Hearings I'm sure.

Regarding General Gaouette ( Commander of the Stennis Strike Force ) and what was the basis of the alleged " lack of leadership judgment " , I have not seen anything shedding further light - other than it wasn't personal conduct. As the Stennis Strike Force was due to be deployed in the Gulf , a reasonable surmise may be that it was related to that mission. In time , I'm sure we will learn more......

Made it through the storm without any problems ( apart from the lights winking last night and having the TV get knocked off momentarily about a dozen times during the evening ) My office is closed for the second day in a row so I'm catching up on the news while sipping my coffee ! Sandy did not disappoint - quite the storm , deceptively strong as even though reported wind speed at landing was about 90 mph , central pressure was about 939 mb - which equates to a Cat 3 or 4 storm...... the breadth of damage and intensity for areas in Sandy's path underline this was not a so called Cat 1 storm. I will get out on the road in a few hours to see how bads things are - no trees down for me , but lots of branches down. One neighbor did lose a tree but fortunately his house wasn't hit !

The Federal Emergency Management Agency is preparing for Hurricane Sandy to disrupt next week's elections, agency Administrator Craig Fugate said Monday afternoon.

"We are anticipating that, based on the storm, there could be impacts that would linger into next week and have impacts on the federal election," Fugate said on a conference call with reporters.

But any potential tinkering with Election Day would bring a bevy of legal issues.

"Our chief counsel's been working on making sure that we have the proper guidance," he added. "We're going through the regulatory policy and making sure all that's in place and we can support it."

So Fredw, do you think they are understating the hurricane damage or overstating it? I have a hard time believing that they are accurately portraying the damage/future effects, currently the impression they are giving seems to be that some coastal areas/ Staten Island were hit hard but that things will be much better in a week or so. Not knowing just guessing, I'm thinking some of the important things like utilities/transportation is going to be a lot longer than that getting back to normal

  30. Good afternoon Kev - while there is a degree of sensationalism present and the media has grabbed the story and run with it with great gusto, my thought is the damage and aftermath observed in New Jersey and New York is very real.....NJ is divided by Interstate 195 ( think Trenton )....above Trenton is where you see the gas shortages ( 75 percent of stations out of gas or power ) while below Trenton 90 percent of gas stations are functioning ( exclude the NJ shore naturally )

Regarding NY - a good portion of the outer boroughs - seem like third world nation territories.... no power , food , gas - like a war zone. That should start to change as fuel becomes available and power restored - but it has been quite bad. I have a Cousin in the Bronx who my Brother and I have tried to reach without success. So , I don't think the aftermath is being overstated for NY .

For other areas - to be frank , aftermath in other states has not been reported in the level of detail ( of NJ and NY ) so it's hard to say where things stand in those locales.....

    1. Thanks for the update, hope your cousin is alright and gets in contact with you soon. Actually does sound quite a bit worse than the impression I'm getting from watching the weather channel, they are showing some severe damage but also a lot of not so damaged places and showing the casinos opening back up. So I was thinking only a few places suffered much severe damage. I'm not sure the MSM is really covering the aftermath much, I don't watch a lot of MSM so not sure maybe I'm just missing it.

Long lines at gas stations, no power for weeks after the storm, shortage of food and water at local stores, roads blocked and people unable to return to their homes. Has anyone been paying attention to what's happened in Fl, Al, La, Ms. ? We have been there and done that, several times. In my area, we had 2 Cat 3's within 9 months.

I'll warn everyone, the next issue is the insurance companies. We have several families that have not yet settled for a hurricane in 2004. Let the law suits begin.....

  48. We are living in the Reality Tyranny Show, people. Anything big is orchestrated. Even surprises have their narrative orchestrated. Most here probably know that Obama hasn’t spent $1 since 1/2010, but the Republican House has given the Treasury away to special interests. The Republicans then blame the Democrats and the Democrats play their role as big spenders – even though the Republicans are 100% responsible. The narrative, however false, is of prime importance in the Reality Tyranny Show.

Now, go ask some folks around you – what party is responsible for all the spending the last 2 years? I bet OVER 90% incorrectly blame the democrats. Why? Because the Reality Tyranny Media told them so.

In the Ultimate History Lesson, John Taylor Gatto nailed it… to paraphrase… [t]here was a 2nd American Revolution in the late 1800s. It wasn’t won through force of arms, but through force of insight into how public opinion was created.

I have seen the enemy… and it is us. We don’t know how to think critically. We don’t even know how one can know something. Almost everyone sees a report on the part of Reality Tyranny Media designed to perform the role of “good cop” for them and they think it is true.

The first three of the classical seven liberal arts, the trivium, instructs us how to differentiate between the known and the unknown.

  49. Has anyone seen “Dreams of My Real Father” on Netflix? I think a very strong case was made that Obama was not born in a Kenyan manger or anywhere else near Kenya at all. I also think they make a great case that Obama didn’t have a British father… that Barack Obama, Sr. was a hoax of a father.

I didn’t like the narrative that Obama is some kind of Communist that despises Big Finance Capital and their corporate fronts. Clearly, they OWN him and use him to go all reverse Robinhood on the suckers that support him (or Romney).

It also dawned on me that we’ve had 30+ years of CIA in the White House starting with Bush the elder. GWB was CIA via his father. Bill Clinton had ties to the CIA via the Mena, AK CIA drug running operations. Obama’s known mother and grandfather were both CIA.

Where did the CIA come from? Skull and Bones. Where did the Skull and Bones come from? The Bavarian Illuminati.

Yeah, they are running our Imperial Presidency, but don’t worry, they don’t exist.

"But any inflationary cycle “advantage” comes with a significant downside. For one, never in the history of mankind has an inflationary cycle so spurred and rewarded financial speculation. Global risk markets have evolved into essentially one historic policy-induced speculative Bubble. Financial speculation was nurtured into one gigantic “crowded trade,” which manifested into the dysfunctional “risk on, risk off” trading dynamic. Increasingly aggressive policy responses over too many years created a speculation monster that will not be easily contained or tamed."

    ReplyDelete
  62. I don't think a Regional conflict will go as expected, I'm guessing that this war we are pressing for will be won by the Iranians. Just a hunch that years of sanctions and seeing how we operate has given them a chance to prepare for the conflict.

    Kev

    ReplyDelete
  63. Kev , the key is what is " winning " ? And as defined by whom , through whose eyes ? Despite the very one-sided destruction that has befallen Gaza ( Similar to Lebanon in 2006 in its war with Israel , a considerable consensus is Hamas is the " winner " here as Israel did not accomplish what they set out to accomplish and Hamas has / is perceived to have gained more than expected in the so called ceasefire. The destruction to Gaza itself , loos of civilian lives and who knows how many folks there were wounded - the perception is that Israel didn't get it done.

With that as context , a Regional war will be an asymmetrical war , the boundaries of which constitute unknown unknown at this time. If Iran is attacked , does Iran have sleeper cells in Europe and the US who could be activated for terrorists acts ? Does Iran have WMDs which we don't know about but could be deployed here ? Can Iran cause enough damage to other GCC countries that oil could be sufficiently cutoff from Europe as well as the West and Asis - thereby harming the global economy ? In a regional campaign involving Syria and Iran vs Nato and GCC nations , do wee see Russia and / or China get involved in the fighting - could they realistically stay out and maintain global credibility ?

Many questions - hope we don't have to find out what the answers are .

    ReplyDelete
  64. Yes I agree despite taking the harder licks in the fight Hamas did win previously, like standing up to the bully in the schoolyard and get beat up but landing a few punches in the fight and more importantly not giving in to their will. I would say that Hezbolla did even better and forced Israel to withdraw. I expect Iran will be able to close the straight of Hormuz and keep it closed, and possibly inflict more damage that she receives. No proof, just taking a small amount of data (iran/iraq war, kosovo, recent drone loss, sunburns), giving a lot of credit to the Iranians for thinking outside the box (I think their home grown military equipment has been designed to counter our high tech advantage), believing what the Iranians say about their defensive capabilities (their recent claims about the drone appear truthful, I actually expect they are understating capabilities/ Sun Tzu The Art of War)and maybe just wishing that the bullies get their face smashed in so the start acting polite and mind their own business.

I don't think Iran has sleeper cells, they have gone to extreme lengths to avoid war and the discovery of one of those would negate that effort. No wmd's here either, unless you count $20 gas.

I think Iran can cause a lot of damage to our puppet states in the vicinity, the Saudi's have got to be on their list and it probably wouldn't take much incite the proles in that place.

No Russia, China probably under the table help but nothing overt unless they decide it's time for all out WW3.

There is all of my arm chair opinion, have a great thanksgiving!

  66. Hi Fredw I Hope you had a great Thanksgiving and black Friday if you are in to that. I'm working, but I don't have any ideas on what to get my girls anyway.

I guess I'm am not completely alone in thinking that a war with Iran isn't a good idea, very odd that it shows up the same day as my post. Maybe Tyler is lurking :)

Sounds like at least 80% of the Austrians gold will be very difficult to retrieve, looks like Chavez was pretty smart if he actually got it all back.

The robot/darpa article creeps me out, I've got to admit that I consider the "skynet" scenario a possibility in the future.

    Have a great one.

  67. Morning Kev ( off today , not into black friday nonsense ) ... Thanksgiving was great - rather than muck it up with a crowd scene on black friday , I will take my dad out to dinner later today ! Self aware killing machines are scary but I think that is coming - after all , at some point the PTBs fear regular cops and soldiers may draw the line at shooting civilians while a machine will just follow its program and " Kill Baby , Kill " Chavez was smart , Germany , Netherlands and Austria seem to be waking up to the dilemma that they fear the gold is gone but are terrified to have THAT CAT out of the bag. The problem for them is the kitty is running around , is out of the bag and doesn't want to slink off somewhere and not be noticed by their citizens.

    2. I think you are right about the Germans/dutch/austrians, they know it's not there but also know that the whole system comes crumbling down if that becomes common knowledge. I guess they will be allowing some time in hopes that it can be "found".

And yes, lies, delays and etc. not much else they can do is there? Print like crazy I guess but they have to know that will cause it's own problems and they still would end up spending more than they got in. The big question is what do they hope to gain from delaying? I read an article 10-12 years ago, in it the guy speculated that the Fed knew (had to know)it's policies were going to destroy the economy in the near future (about now I would think) and therefore the Fed must think that the long term didn't matter or even that there wasn't a long term future. I still think about the possibility that the guy was correct, would explain all the actions to keep the ponzi going a little longer no matter what the long term expense will be, the casual disregard of the radiation from fukishima and even the flirting with WW3. Something to keep in mind anyway.

      Kev

      Delete
    3. I agree - I think anyone running a ponzi scheme realizes the game can't last forever , ergo , there is no long term issues to deal with , just short term. Get through today. Then get through tomorrow - repeat this approach day after day. If you consider the economic policies in Europe and the US through the prism of running a ponzi scheme , the approaches we have observed over the recent years start to make sense. Thinking you can solve a debt problem by borrowing more money makes no sense long term ( unless you're running a ponzi scheme and the only thing that matters is flow. )

The gold prisoner's dilemma for Austria , Germany , Netherlands et al is the knowledge their countrymen will go apeshitte whenever the news becomes undeniable that the gold has been stolen by NY and London , that there will be no replacement - not in gold , maybe fiat could be offered but who wants that ? the Politicians and Central Bankers know heads could literally roll for that - thus delay / lie / plead with the thieves to play nice / cover up the truth as long as possible from their countrymen. If enough time is bought , perhaps a country like Iran can be looted and said gold there "returned " to those at the front of the borrowed gold line. Or as austerity hits , maybe countries like Italy , Greece , spain and Portugal wil be obligated to "pledge " their gold to secure loans ( said gold will never be seen again. )

So , that might be why austria , Germany and the Dutch will fake it until the NY Fed and BOE somehow get there hands on enough gold to satisfy their claims - the reality is if the gold isn't there , other than War , what option do they have to enforce their claim ?

    4. Back in '08 , oil supply met demand as China was importing oil in record amounts to fill new SPR and oil went to $147, crashing the economy.
On Nate's blog late last summer I put up one chart which had :
Available Global Net oil Exports (GNE) minus Chindia's Net Imports (CNI) which would be Available Cumulative Net Exports (CNE)to other than Chindia, versus Global Public Debt (GPD)
Anyhoo, in Oct on The Oil Drum ,commenter Westexas quantified the chart by dividing GPD by CNE and the result is,,, Debt per Barrel (DPB) of CNE .
That amount was $150 DPB in '05 and increased to $525 DPB in '11 .
With that, WT said,,"MY premise is that the oil importing OECD countries are trying to keep their economies, especially the "wants"based portions of their economies, going in the face of declining post'05 supplies of GNE,via massive deficit spending--financed by real creditors and by accomodative CBs--as annual global crude oil prices increased from $25 in '02 to $111 in '11.

Updated today to reflect Saturday Fin Min Teleconference call on Greece .....

Note Decision date of Monday slipping from 11/26 until perhaps December 3. Also note latest new condition from the IMF which could slow tranche disbursement until as far out as December 14 or until buyback is completed.... This ploy is very sneaky - one has to really wonder if Greece is going to get the shaft as I will explain. First consider this snippet from one article :

    http://www.ekathimerini.com/4dcgi/_w_articles_wsite1_1_24/11/2012_471489

Greece is hoping to receive the whole 44 billion euros due to be released from the bailout program next month. As things stand, all of this money will go to cover immediate obligations. Some 24 billion euros will be used to complete the bank recapitalization program, 9 billion will be invested in the buyback scheme, 4.5 billion is needed to cover the primary deficit, 3.5 billion has been slated to reduce state arrears, 3.4 billion is needed to cover four-week T-bills that mature next month and 500 million euros will go toward covering a bond that matures on December 21.

Forget the 44 billion trance is exceeded by the 44.9 in demands upon Greece - le's just focus on the bank recapitalization piece of 24 billion - if there is a private buyback and Greek Banks have been both initial participants in the Greek private investor debt swap ( PSI ) from March 2012 ( which caused massive losses and forced in part this bank recap ) , won't they once again suffer losses if they are subjected once again to haircuts on their Greek debt ? Second , what will the impact be on the Greek Banks on the new Greek bonds they have buying to bail out Sovereign Greece ? If Greek Banks suffer further losses due to both current Greek bonds which suffer losses and / or their residual Greek debt holding from the PSI , is it likely the 24 bank recap is insufficient ? Regardless , can Greece find sufficient interest among private investors without forcing the second PSI to have CAC imposed ? In sum , as the Troika envisions cutting Greece's debt by 40 - 45 billion by way of a second PSI and in light of expected private investor rebellion , I think this just won't fly.

    ReplyDelete
  71. I wouldn't touch any Greek debt with a ten foot pole and I think they want to shaft anybody and everybody they can. They still might do it though I have to admit I think it would take some new trickery and deceit to con the private money to take part. There still seems to be a lot of money out there that's in a desperate search for a place to park, I would have never thought bonds with a negative (or just very low)interest rate would sell, especially in this period of extreme money creation. Desperate money looks like stupid money to me, so who knows, maybe there is some very stupid money out there.

You know it's odd with our economy in critical condition from too much debt and spending that I haven't heard much about the military budget. I don't guess anybody wants to cut that.

And yes even though the story is from Debka, it wouldn't surprise me that we were trying to blow it up even if it would kill millions, innocents don't count when we kill them.

    Kev

    ReplyDelete
  80. Good afternoon Kev - regarding the military budget , note the sparring isn't what amount of billions should be trimmed , it's on whether the US can unilaterally and indefinitely detain americans ( as if that really be an issue anyway ) !

Debka should always be viewed through their agenda - but the fact remains they do break middle east news first which we later find out confirmed by msm outlets. As there are various sources that bad things have been happening with Iran's nuclear program , I tend to believe there is a fire where we smell the smoke here. Also , note we are starting to hear " fears " regarding Assad's chemical weapons again . something is going to pop with Syria soon !

Regarding civilian deaths , Iraq , Afghanistan , Pakistan , Syria have shown there is no concern regarding collateral damage ..... no reason to think Iran will be different even if the scale could be levels of magnitude greater. And you Congress , the MSM , UN won't say a word !

What's scary is not that this happened in Japan , but with the sorry state of infrastructure in the US , it's amazing a disaster a day doesn't occur here ! Of course , we did just have the tanker car spill in Paulsboro , New Jersey that spilled vinyl chloride late last week......

    3. Hi Fredw, The chemical weapons propaganda is pretty thick, we must be planning a false flag to kick off the invasion. Sounds like we have about completed preparations for the war so the kickoff may be soon after Christmas, I don't think they would take a chance on hurting holiday sales, could be wrong though. Yes even the sorry state of our infrastructure would suggest that war is coming sooner than later, at some point the degradation of the civilian base is going to cause a degradation in the support of our massive military, so it's a use it or lose it scenario. BTW, both links were the same article. Joy to the world.....

I think it's interesting to note how the Syria situation has become hype just as we see the Greek bond buyback floundering but set for a near term decision point ( buyback needs to be wrapped up by 12/12 if Greece is to get the next tranche when the latest EU Summit occurs next week ( 12/13 ) and the next Greek bond redemption is due ( 12/14 )

    8. Interesting brief note on the greek buyback from a greek paper.... discussing game of chicken between Greek banks and hedge funds , but I snipped the last piece to show what the banks have obtained as a condition of participation ! So , Greece gets participation at the level needed from the greek banks , greek banks get major concessions , hedge funds benefit by selling some at the buyback price and hoping for greater appreciation afterwards ...... but this doesn't benefit Greece actually at all ! In another 3- 6 months , Greece will have broken Troika requirements for this bailout as the austerity measures will mandate failure , the concessions given to appease banks , appease citizens from rioting / striking daily in lieu of work , the continued failure to pay taxes will get larger ( rich still won't pay as this is Greece after all )......and then Greece will be looking for another bailout without private investors to squeeze meaningfully - just the Official sector ( which is when Greece will have to really post assets like their gold , oil and gas reserves , state assets , etc... )

Bank chiefs had a final meeting with Stournaras on Thursday ahead of the decision-making board meetings to be held by all main lenders on Friday. The most likely scenario is that they will all take part, but not with all the bonds they hold.

However, it does look as though banks have had it their way this time, as in return for their participation in the buyback program, they appear to have secured a tax exemption for their losses from the PSI debt restructuring, amounting to taxes of 4.2 billion euros, and from the buyback, equal to 2 billion euros.

They have also reportedly secured the protection of the banks’ governing boards from civil liability.

    1. Like that was a lot of items :) Most of them reinforcing of my very cynical nature, thank you. I've got to admit that I'm watching 12/21, I'm not expecting the end of the world but am keeping an open mind as to whether it's the end of an "age" and the start of some dramatic "changes". But then again, I've been following Halfpasthuman.com for a long time too.
Follow up on Geryl, missed the 11/28 call for a 8+, but did get close with his 12/04-12/05 7+ call. Based on the list I have from early Nov, he still has a 7+ on 12/11, an 8+ 12/17-12/18 and a 10+ on 12/21. 7 and greater earthquakes are pretty rare so if he gets any one of those 3 remaining I'll continue to keep an open mind on him. If not, I will be ignoring him.

Iranians captured another drone, I wonder if they have figured out how to hack them.

I have a lunch meeting on 12 /21 which i haven't cancelled - but the CERN aspect is interesting....

As for the quake we just saw , when I saw the initial 7.3 , the first thought that popped in my mind was that a precursor quake ( which did happen before 3/11 in Japan ).... guess we shall see what happens over the next few days on that front....

Iran does seem to have figured out how to hack our drones , not the first time they grabbed one - won't be the last time I suppose. Question is - what can they do with those birds once they get them ?

Syria getting hotter - rebels now seem to have captured one Syria chemical depot ( Al Safira ) and now have access to scuds and chemical agents which could be launched - who attacks first , Rebels , Assad or Nato / GCC forces ?

    4. We know chemical weapons will be used , whether Assad uses them or not , he will be blamed. NATO and GCC will attack once that happens - if it turns out after the fact , it was the rebels , no one from the rebel ranks will be tried for war crimes.... it will just be lost in the fog of war.....

When you fall a day or so ( one side or the other of a quake prediction ) , that's within a reasonable margin of error to me. a 7.1 quake is fairly strong.... I recall when the quake hit near Virginia but that quake registered in Philly ( I was on the thirteen floor and felt the floor do a rumbling move and heard the building groan - a sound you don't want to hear when you're 13 floors up. ) the Virginia quake was 5.8 , epicenter was 38 miles NW of Richmond and still could make Towers shake and groan in Philly..... so imagine what a 7 mag quake must feel like at the epicenter , let alone a 8 or 9 !

The 5.8 certainly got my attention down here in Roanoke and I was on the first floor. I think your right, I should give him credit, just don't want him to be right about the next 2 predicted Dec quakes.

I have no doubt that Assad won't be the one to use chemical weapons and am fully aware that both Libya and Syria are victims of "outside" forces which are utterly without morals and have a free pass to be so, in fact every war crime the so called rebel forces commit is blamed on Assad.

  83. Kev and MM......I don't have sympathy for Gaddafi , Assad or Saddam. None for Mubarak . All four brutally repressed their people , tortured , murdered numbers we will never know. However , the process in which all four were removed should be a concern - it we could partake in their removal , don't be shocked that somewhere down the road , what's good for the goose , becomes good for the Gander.

Conditions here in the US will continue to get worse - look at the food stamp usage numbers ( in contrast to the bs numbers we get monthly from the BLS ) ..... what happens if at some point SNAP goes crackle and then pop ? No SNAP , no food for 47 million folks - think that will be received well or might we see hungry folks fight for their lives , protest against the US government ? That seems likely to me . There is no magic money tree and some point the infallible FED will be quite fallible. If financial support for US debt is pulled , interest rates rise and they don't have to rise that notably to put a hitch in the US giddy up......Fed funds rates at a historical norm would make the US debt service very difficult - consider the debt mountain created over the past few years ! Consider the amount of debt we admit to ( about 16 trillion ) , the fnm / fre liabilities ( another 5- 6 trillion we ignore but have allegedly guaranteed ) and another 87- 100 trillion in unfunded SS / Medicare and federal retirement benefits... how long can the US ponzi last , I mean really ?

When things fall apart , it might be ironic to see the UN ( led by China , Russia , India , South America and so called GCC friends , suddenly call on the US to " respect " the rights of protesters , for sanctions to be imposed because of human rights violations against the US and to see the same processes used against " Dictators " such as Assad / Saddam , Gaddafi et al , used against the US......

As Mark Twain once said " History doesn't repeat itself , but it does rhyme. " if such rhymes occur , Americans shouldn't be shocked..........

  84. I don't know Fred. I think you grossly underestimate the power of power. The US has built up incredible power both economically and militarily. At no time in your lifetime will the UN ever dictate terms to the US. Forget all those movie plot versions, true power doesn't read screenplays, it just enforces it's will.
And if you've ever played "Risk" you'll know that America's true power is in it's geography; and when the world finally does crash the new overlords will choose North America as the home of the new world order. Location, location, location, best real estate on the planet.

  85. I take it this is MM - I can't say that you're wrong and I respect your opinion. Every Empire has its day and we have seen the sun set on many over the annals of history. And don't think that I want the set to set on the US - I live here , plan to live and don't want to see the country lose its sovereign rights and powers. However , we are traveling down a dangerous road and we are entering ( in my opinion ) a time period where we may become vulnerable. At the end of the day , we shall see what goes down , right ?

  86. A lot of discussion points :) While I don't like dictatorships and would prefer republics like America used to have, I think all forms of government will brutally repress threats to their power. Just look at our history, civil war, whiskey rebellion, the WW1 vets protest, Kent state, Waco, and the over top violence against the Occupy movement (which wasn't very threatening even). I don't think any of those 4 dictators stole as much from their people as our fake corporate run democracy is though. Still my main points are that it's not our business and the people we liberate will be much worse off.

I agree with MM that the US has a lot of power but I do think it's very dependent on complex systems that are not very robust. The main problem is that the economy has been hollowed out but I also doubt whether we could even build a drone without parts from China, even if they aren't in the drone, somewhere in the supply chain is bound to depend on them. So we can currently project a shitload of power but I don't think that would last long in a real war or even after the economy goes to shit.

Did Deepwater Horizon ever actually stop leaking , have regional quakes caused cracks / seeps to release oil , will BP ever be held accountable for their lies and incalculable damage to the Gulf coast ?
